Dacoda Nichole Jones, who also did not mention Rice directly, shared a series of photos on social media that appeared to show indicators of bodily harm. She did say the person involved was the parent of her kids, and it is known she has two children with Rice, whom the team drafted in the 2023 draft.
No police reports were available in Overland Park, Kansas where the alleged abuse is said to have occurred.
Rice missed the initial part of this season following an NFL suspension for his role in instigating a crash on a Dallas highway that left multiple people hurt. Rice was given a month of incarceration and five years’ probation after pleading guilty to serious offenses.
Statistically, he finished the year with 53 catches for 571 yards and five TDs as the Kansas City went with a losing record and missed the playoffs for the first time in a ten-year span.
